Co-Founder

TaNan Culinary Training ProgramTaNan โก๋ชุมชน

I co-founded the TaNan Culinary Training Program with my sister to create sustainable career opportunities for vulnerable communities in Thailand.

I designed the patongko training program, coordinated training and equipment, addressed issues during sessions, and followed up with participants to support their production and sales. I also developed a Web Application offering guidance and access to discounted supplies. I also designed and donated food carts to help selected communities test their businesses and build confidence before launching.

Invention & led

I developed this pedal-powered generator to support Deaf people and other vulnerable groups in Thai communities. During floods or power outages, it provides temporary electricity for charging mobile phones and meeting other essential needs. It is made from affordable materials readily available in most households.

“Millionaire Patongko” Book

The Millionaire Patongko book standing on a table — cover by Thanita Sedtinwong (Winnie) and Nantha Sedtinwong (Annie)

This book aims to help vulnerable communities in Thailand build sustainable livelihoods by selling patongko and Thai custard, particularly those in remote areas unable to attend TaNan’s training sessions. It provides step-by-step guidance, from basic preparation to professional techniques, as well as advice on ingredients, equipment, business planning, costs and profits, marketing, and pricing.

Available online and in bookstores throughout Thailand. The net profit from selling will continuously support vocational training and assistance for vulnerable communities.

Founder & Product Developer

As a long-time fan of steamed buns, I developed THAN BAO after finding no brand that matched my taste. Named after me, Thanita, THAN BAO offers uniquely flavored buns with exceptionally soft dough and healthier fillings, appealing to health-conscious consumers.

THAN BAO products are available ready-to-eat and frozen, with distribution through Chinese restaurants, breakfast cafés, hotels, and supermarkets. The brand will also offer bun-making classes for those seeking additional income or a stable livelihood.

Summer 2023

Internship in Soap Manufacturing

I had the opportunity to complete an internship at a soap manufacturing. I learned about the entire production process, from receiving raw materials and carrying out each stage of production to operating machinery and packaging equipment. I also gained experience in product quality control and the storage of finished goods in preparation for distribution. This internship gave me a broader understanding of how an industrial factory operates.
